Paul Jaminet is an ex-astrophysicist who fell into the research, experimentation and education in the nutrition realm. Paul and his wife wrote a book called the Perfect Health Diet, which is a slight variation of the Paleo diet.
Something that Paul and I both agree on is that you should eliminate foods that are problematic for YOU, not necessarily foods that others say you shouldn’t eat. An example of this is the consumption of white rice and starches such as sweet and white potatoes. I find these important for my exercise intensity.
Today we discuss:
- The perfect health diet
- Circadian rhythms and what and why you should eat during DAYLIGHT hours
- Exercise and how it’s results are affected by working out at different times in the day
- The link between depression, sickness, social anxiety and diet (Very important topic)
- Paul’s “perfect day of eating”
You can purchase Paul’s book, Perfect Health Diet: Regain Health and Lose Weight by Eating the Way You Were Meant to Eat. It will help support this podcast and Paul’s work. Thanks for your continued support!
